Return to Swift Automotive

Corey and Sheri Swift were high school sweethearts married in 1987. They have two children, Natasha and Devin.

Swift Automotive opened in January 1997 as Corey rolled his tool box into a friend's small 2 bay shop with the promise to pay rent at the end of the month. Within its first year, Sheri left her job to join Corey due to the volume of business.

Today, Corey, Sheri and the guys proudly service and repair an average of a couple hundred vehicles per month. Never having used any type of advertising, their entire clientele was built by word of mouth.

No stranger to hard work, Sheri, Corey and the kids just fought their toughest fight ever. Sheri was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer on May 12, 2008. After a two year long fight against this terrible disease, Sheri passed away peacefully at home with her complete family by her side on April 17th 2010. Sheri won her battle against brain cancer by going to Heaven and receiving her new body. Sheri has been such a blessing, wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter and priceless friend. Sheri will be greatly missed but never forgotten, her memory and spirit will live on forever. Corey, Natasha and Devin want to thank everyone for their support and prayers through this time.

A Parting Note from Sheri

Dear Friends and Family,

Please do not be sad, know that I am ok and that I have gone to my eternal home in heaven where there is no more pain. I am reunited with my friends and loved ones who went before me. Celebrate my life by remembering and sharing all of the wonderful times we spent together. Laugh and smile as much as you can because life is so precious but sometimes cut too short. Take comfort that I am laughing and smiling with you. I will watch over you all and know that I am always with you.

Love always,
Sheri
